Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide dancers quality education in dance while instilling a love for the art of dance.
It is our philosophy and commitment to educate all students, consistent with
their abilities and goals. This education will contribute to a sense of personal worth, independence, emotional maturity, and self-confidence.
Lin began her studies at age 5 with Madame Halina, a Russian classical ballet instructor in Elmira, New York and has been teaching all ages for over 30 years. She taught dance in Pennsylvania, New York and Colorado before moving to Melbourne, Florida to pursue her dream of opening her own dance studio. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management with a minor in Psychology from the University of Colorado. She attends several dance conventions and intensive teacher training workshops a year to keep abreast of the latest teaching techniques. Lin’s spunk and creativity in the classroom is adored by students of all ages. Lin’s energetic style and incredible talent to choreograph makes dancing fun for all – both students and audiences. Lin has successfully directed several award winning dance teams and has received several choreography and outstanding studio awards. Former students have gone on to dance at universities and professional companies. Lin is delighted to bring the love of dance to her community through her visions and dreams. Her students are her inspiration and her children Kaleb and Sierra are her foundation.
Turning Pointe is a professional dance studio committed to providing a fun, safe, positive, family-oriented dance environment conducive to learning appropriate dance technique, training, and instruction in various styles and disciplines.

We offer classes for ages 18 months to adult in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, contemporary, acrobatics, musical theater, and hip hop.
Showcase & Competition Teams
For the more serious dancer, our school offers performance and competition opportunities. Our dancers have won many regional awards, as well as being recognized for their talent with scholarships and internships around the United States.
Recreational Classes
Our instructors are dedicated to providing a well-rounded dance instructive curriculum and focus on adhering to the highest standards to help students reach their ultimate potential. They not only teach the technique of each step, but the art of movement. Our instructors are enthusiastic and passionate about what they do and are eager to pass along the true love of dance to each student. We are devoted to equal treatment and care for all students regardless of age or level of proficiency. Over the last 22 years Turning Pointe has been second home to hundreds of dancers and we pride ourselves in including family in all aspects of moving our studio forward toward our vision.
